How to get your floor plan
There are two ways to get your custom made, professionally drawn, digital floor plan:
Option 1: You provide a sketch or hardcopy of the floor plan, we create a clean and professional digital floor plan.
- Obtain an existing drawing or create your own sketch (use our handy graph paper if you like...)
- Ensure that your sketch or drawing is labeled with room dimensions and names.
- We must have the room dimensions to create an accurate digital floor plan. However, whether or not you want them shown on your final drawing is optional. Just let us know. Including the room names is helpful in case we have questions.
- For fastest service, scan and your sketch or fax it TOLL FREE to 1-877-247-7495 along with a completed order form. Use the order form as your cover sheet if you fax us the sketch. If you have a full size architectural drawing, you can mail it to us.
- A quote/invoice will be e-mailed or faxed back to you.
- Pay securely by credit card here: www.DigitalFloorPlans.net/payments
- Your floor plan will be e-mailed to you in JPG and PDF formats (unless you specify differently), usually within 1 business day!
Option 2: A simple phone call does it all!
- Give us a call with the property address and we'll set up a mutually acceptable time for one of our field technicians to visit your property. We will go out of our way to accomodate your schedule, whatever day and time you need us. Of course, we fill our schedule on a first come, first served basis, so the more notice you can give us, the more likely we can be there exactly when you want us to be.
- We will arrive on site promptly at the scheduled time.
- We will sketch and measure the house, office, or building.
- For a rough estimate of the time we will need, please figure about 5 minutes per room. Most residences can be done in about an hour.
- We will create your digital floor plan and have it to you as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours!
If you choose to make your own sketch, remember that the more complete and accurate it is, the better your digital floor plan will be. On the other hand, keep in mind we are making the drawing for marketing purposes, not engineering purposes!
